Three reliable starting points
Match the method to the product.
Use fresh water and measure the yaupon when you can. Temperature, time, and ratio all change the cup, so adjust one variable at a time after trying the starting recipe.

Make it yours
Adjusting strength and texture.
Use a little less water, or increase the loose leaf slightly. Adjust the steeping time to taste.
Try a shorter steep or add a little more hot water to your finished tea.
Taste the drink plain first, then add your preferred milk, cream, or sweetener a little at a time.
Remove the tea bag after steeping. For Original loose leaf, use a fine infuser or strain before drinking.
